Overview

Weaving is one of humanity's oldest creative practices, and one of its richest mythologically, metaphorically, and aesthetically. This group exhibition teases out themes of form, language, and story-telling in works by Miguel Arzabe, Ricki Dwyer, Gego, Trude Guermonprez, Porfirio Gutiérrez, Channing Hansen, Andrea Higgins, Ruth Lasky, Dinh Q. Lê, Emil Lukas, Christy Matson, Sandra Monterroso, Driss Ouadahi, Kay Sekemachi, Lenore Tawney, Susie Taylor, and Deborah Valoma.
