Greg Rose: Garden Fiction

Los Angeleno Greg Rose makes landscape paintings that strike a balance between the machined perfection of California minimalism and the social appropriation of Ed Ruscha, Robert Therrien and Lari Pittman. The similarity to and distinction from traditional Chinese landscape paintings is startling.
