San Francisco Bay Area's Bruce Conner is one of the most important artists of the 20th Century - pioneering art making in sculpture, drawing, photography and video. For SF Art Week 2025, Hosfelt Gallery brings together a group of his seminal drawings, made with magic markers between 1961 and 1968. These exquisite drawings, mostly from the personal collection of Jean Conner (Bruce's widow), have not been exhibited since the De Young Memorial Museum's 1974 retrospective, Bruce Conner: Drawings, 1955-1972. Hosfelt Gallery's public programming around this exhibition includes a tour of the exhibition given by Todd Hosfelt, who curated the show, and Robert Conway, Trustee of the Conner Family Trust, on Friday January 24th, at 3pm.
