Artist Patricia Piccinini uses another design classic to create Nest. The Vespa has been in production for 70 years and takes its name from the scooter's resemblance to the wasp. Piccinini steps the anthropomorphism up a gear, adding a Disneyesque emotiveness to her mother and child scooter sculpture.
