Russell Crotty exhibition at Shoshana Wayne Gallery in Los Angeles in 2000
Russell Crotty, a nationally recognized artist and 2015 Guggenheim Fellow, will be brought in by the residency to use Lick Observatory telescopes to create astronomy-themed artworks. Crotty's works in drawing and sculpture, which have been recognized for almost two decades, are based off direct astronomical observation and photography.
