"Rosary" consists of hand-made chain links connecting female body parts, many of which are typical regions for piercing, as well as references to sexuality. The cast body parts are reminiscent of votive offerings and milagros found in Catholic shrines and churches, in plea or in gratitude for healing. Here, the chained female body may also reference the church’s enslavement of women when it comes to reproductive choices.
