Salesforce Tower joins hand-clapping for frontliners in the coronavirus pandemic

Salesforce Tower has become part of the international movement to offer an evening round of applause to medical professionals, grocery clerks, letter carriers and everyone else on the front line against COVID-19.

“I'm joining the group of people in the city who are giving thanks and compassion,” says Jim Campbell, the electronic artist who programs the 6-story LED artwork that rises to 1,000 feet, making it the tallest work of public art in the country.
